CLA INSiGHT Technology
Neurological Scan Examination
Technology certified by NASA - CERTIFIED SPACE TECHNOLOGY™
The Insight technology we use has received the exclusive recognition of a Certified Space Technology from The Space Foundation, in partnership with NASA.
You can now be examined by a non-invasive assessment technology originally designed to measure changes in astronauts' spinal muscles caused by spaceflight!
Analytical evaluation of the functioning of the Nervous System
with cutting-edge technology
NeuroTECH scanners from CLA combine the accuracy, validity and reliability of three most important measures of the nervous system.
and Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
NeuroCORE electromyography (EMG), neuroTHERMAL thermography and neuroPULSE (HRV) provide a comprehensive platform for spinal-nerve examinations. They connect via CLA's powerful software, where they detect the impact of modern lifestyle stress on the body, while simultaneously recording spinal nerve responses in real time.
At DROSOS Clinic we use INSiGHT technology to understand the impact of subluxations, which is a nerve interference (false signal) along the spine. This nerve interference disrupts the normal function of the nerves in the muscles, causing an abnormal amount of electrical flow to the muscles and creating other health problems. The scanners measure the electrical flow and map it, using graphics that show the spine.
Now you may be wondering:
"And why do I need to scan my nervous system? Where will it help me?"
The benefits of these scans are the detection and localization of abnormal function that cannot be seen on an X-ray and is generally not felt in the form of pain until the damage is severe, e.g. like a heart attack. The scans will show if there is any subluxation (stress) in your nervous system and how this is affecting your organs, glands, muscles and energy level.
"Do the scanners hurt?"
Not at all! These tests are completely painless and do not use any needles, electric shock or heat. The patient simply feels someone touching their spine. Even infants can be scanned.
Surface Electromyography neuroCORE (sEMG) :
The Central Nervous System (CNS) is constantly communicating with the muscles of the spine to assess your posture. The CNS tries to make sure you can stand upright when you stand or walk. A disruption in this communication can send the wrong signals to the brain.
Consequently, the muscles around the vertebraYour column can be overstressed or underpowered creating hypertonic (tight) or hypotonic (lax) muscles. Each color represents a different amount of nervous system disturbance. Imbalanced energy flow (nerve communication) through your spine can allow subluxation (when joints don't move properly) to occur.
The neuroCore technology measures the energy flowing through the muscles around your spine, and we use these results to better understand your muscle activity. Through chiropractic we can help effectively balance your energy flow by providing specific adjustments through your spine.
Infrared Thermography neuroTHERMAL:
The scanner will take the temperature on each side of your spine. Your skin temperature is controlled by the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) which is the part of the nervous system that you don't have to think about. Like heart rate, breathing, functioning of all organs and more.
Studies at Johns Hopkins University show that body temperature on the left and right sides of the spine should be the same. A difference in body temperature on the right or left side of the spine indicates pressure on your autonomic nerves (subluxation) and reduced communication between the brain and the corresponding organ or system. Therefore, autonomic control is disrupted and the activity of your internal organs may decrease. If we allow these patterns of reduced communication to continue, your body will not be able to heal itself properly when necessary.
The neuroTHERMAL, using infrared technology, can detect the temperature difference at each level of the spine. In this way, we can through the results to identify areas of autonomic nerve dysregulation and organ control. With chiropractic, we can help regulate organs, glands and blood vessel control more effectively by providing specific adjustments through your spine.
Heart Rate Variability neuroPULSE (HRV):
The stressors of everyday life affect the functioning of our Central Nervous System (CNS). Within the CNS we have the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) which oversees the operation of every system within your body. You don't have to think about how to breathe or how to beat your heart because that is the main role of your Autonomic Nervous System.
A stressful lifestyle affects the balance and regulation of your ANS. In scientific terms, it assesses the balance in your Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) which controls your "Fight or Flight" (sympathetic) and "Rest and Digest" (parasympathetic) responses. This test is an excellent indicator of how well you can handle stress (adaptability) and how much more stress you can handle (reserve).
neuroPulse technology scans your heart rate, measures your skin temperature and stress levels to calculate your Heart Rate Variability (HRV). We use the results to better understand the adaptability of the ANS to life stressors. As a result, through chiropractic we can help adjust your ANS more effectively by providing specific adjustments through your spine.
Overall Body Wellness - the CORESCORE
When the scans of all three scanners - neuroCORE, neuroTHERMAL, neuroPULSE - are completed, an overall score, the CORESCORE, is produced, which collectively shows us how well your nervous system is working with 100 being the perfect score.
THE ROOT CAUSE
We scan the entire spinal nervous system to detect areas of dysfunction.
It is our job to remove these dysfunctions allowing your body to heal itself and seek balance in the way it was designed.
The results of the scans will pinpoint exactly where painless stress is affecting your health before you even know it. This method is safe for children and allows parents to be sure that their children are receiving the best care for their overall health.
